The Books Stack (the “Site”) is an independent editorial review of accounting & invoicing tools. There are no sign-up, checkout or lead forms on the Site, and we aim to collect as little as possible.
The Site itself collects no personal data through forms — there are none. Basic, aggregated visit statistics (device type, referring page) may be collected through self-hosted analytics; that data is not shared with third-party advertising networks. Where such analytics is enabled, IP address and user-agent are deleted automatically after 14 days.
The “Visit site” buttons send you to the platform’s own website, where its own privacy policy applies. Any details you enter there (name, work email, a request) you provide on their side, under their rules — we do not receive or store them.
Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you sign up with a platform after clicking through, we may receive a referral fee. It does not affect the price you pay, and it does not affect which platforms are listed or how they are grouped — selection is based on what each product does.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you may request information about, or deletion of, any data relating to you, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at hello@books.skillscreen.net.
